    Indian food is popular for the use of spices, which adds to the authentic and unique taste. The spices that are used in Indian food have many health benefits besides the fact of making food tasty. Some of the commonly used spices in Indian food are Hing or Asafoetida, Fennel, Fenugreek seeds, etc. What are the other commonly used spices in Indian Food?

    Cinnamon,masala leaf,cloves,coriander seeds,Red mirchi,ginger.

    To make food spicy one can add ginger and garlic paste, cloves, red chilly powder, black pepper, bay leaf, etc.
