It is undoubtedly true that until unless people would not think together for the well-being of the society and the country, development and change would remain static processes. Change, transformation and growth these are not one man’s task these terms includes various elements. It is only possible when the Collective Consciousness would arise among the people when they would be able to realize that society is not one man’s property rather it belongs to all then only the process of change would begin. People should realize that feeling of unity and collectiveness among each other in order to step forward. In the recent times collective consciousness has been observed among the Indians in many ways, people have begun to raise their voices all together against the social taboos, issues particularly like rape, crimes and violence against the women. Protests, dharna, campaigns are the indicators of that collective consciousness only, but what is important is transform that consciousness into positive initiatives rather than something outrageous. People should come together to resolve a problem and not to create further problems; this consciousness is actually a weapon of the general public that can bring drastic transformations in the society at large scale. Do you think such an apprehension can really bring change in the society?
