10th boards are not there now, the relief to students but the sense of competition has now lost somewhere. Studnets are becoming more and more careless and they are not feeling the zest for th exams as they used to feel earlier. This is all due to grading system as students will get the grade in class 10th and the board system is completely abandoned. I personally feel that this is the biggest mistake from the eduction ministry department to make such law as it has declined the sense of responsibility among students and they are more becoming immature as well as premature. They are more inclined towards wrong deeds as they get ample time now. What do you think?
I personally do not like the grading system as it decreases the competition between the students and it is making them careless towards the studies. They are tend to become more lazy as they know that they are not going to flunk in the examination. this feeling give rise to less competition and growth of the children automatically declines.
CBSE has changed the picture of education completely by making the 10th and 12th as a grading system. I do not like this because it has scattered the dreams of many children and have demotivated many students to study hard in the examination. The atmosphere of competition has wiped away from the schools and students who are getting 90% getting A+ and those students who are working hard and got 97% also getting A+ grades. This brings the sense of demotivation among students.
@economists: I completely agree with your thoughts as due to the grading system the sense of competition has decreased and people are unable to make the difference between the person who is getting 80% and 88%. The difference in the percentage is quite high but still the motivation factors remains behind. So I think this is not a good idea to change the competition in a lousy study.
