There has been a rise in kidnappings of infants by people close to them, like nannies and uncles and friends of parents. Are even children not safe in our country. But the bright side is, now the police have started taking it seriously and have devoted resources to prevent and solve such crimes. Do you think recent arrests will lower the kidnapping rate of infants ?
Kidnapping is not anew phenomenon as children are being kidnapped since years and its been a practice since ages. Kidnapping, raping and murdering have now become a common crime and the money that people get from the kidnapping usually goes to the one who is close to the family of the children who is kidnapped. Mostly the family members apart form the friends are involved in kidnapping and murdering. the increase rate is indeed very high..
child kidnapping are increasing day by day as the black business are growing across the country. i think the police should be cautious and serious on these issues. children are being kidnapped for the sake of putting them into beggary and even in other bad things. some children are even kidnapped for human sacrifices as a part of black magic. all these are absurdities by primitive minds of india and they should be caught. atleast police should be active in areas where such activities are rampant.
i think the police force is taking these issues very lightly but in my view these would become more and more rampant as our cities grow and population increase. child kidnappings are taking place for various reasons, some for vengeance, some for the purpose of turning them into beggars and so forth. under such circumstances, both public and police has to be vigilant because police alone cannot take care of such issues. if public is more responsible, it would become easy for police to gather clues.
I think its sheer lack of responsibility in us that is leading to child kidnappings. Responsibility as a parent and responsibility as a member of society we live, both account for the children being nabbed. We should try to be more vigilant and responsible at our homes and even outside to prevent such activities.
