She is highly educated, a woman of substance and amazingly confident, she is Chhavi Rajawat the lady Sarpanch of the village called Soda in Rajasthan. She is extremely wise and humble and firmly believes in her cultural and traditional values and yet at the same time believes in the power of science, technology and education that can bring betterment and development in the lives of the people. At a very young age she became an amiable person among the villagers of the Soda and because of her popularity only she was requested by the people of Soda to enter into the election for the post of Sarpanch. Chhavi’s grandfather General Raghubir Singh had served the three terms as the Sarpanch of the village Soda, he was highly humble and responsible during his working tenure and this sensibility made the people of the village encouraging the girl to go for this post. She was already working with the top leading MNCs and Communication Companies but finally she chose to serve her very own village and its people. In March 2010 Chhavi became the Village Mayor/Sarpanch of Soda and after that she did not look back. She has rigorously worked and still working for the welfare and development of her village and its people. Her prime focus is on the women empowerment among the females of her village. She is a great inspiration for the youth of India and has given a big example of Service and Humanity.
