India is a secular country we all know that very well, various religions are followed all together while maintaining their own identity and importance. Religion has always been a phenomenon that has been guiding the Indian human race since a long time. India is full of religious and devoted people who are completely into their religion and strictly adhere to its structure. But lately, people in India have been found to have crossed certain boundaries and neglected essential parameters in the name of religion. They have begun to name unethical actions as a part of religion and moreover have become superstitious. Their mindset have become narrow and demure, their religious sanctity has become adulterated. Now people are more fascinated to towards the religious gurus who have been involved in mantras, spell casting and those are able to fulfil the materialistic desires of the general public. The true religious devotion among the people has been lost somewhere, people have become more focused on material and physical things their devotion into the religion has been become limited and dependent upon the fulfilment of their materialistic desires. People now tend to follow only that religion and religious guru who is able to let them grab a good job, promotion, children, good wife and etc. What I mean to say here is that the sanctity has been disturbed and has not remained the same what it used to be in earlier times. We are now more fearful of God and tend to follow religious rites and rituals out of fear only; fear of getting punished from the deities. Real understanding has been lacking, we lack to understand the actual operation of religion in our lives and tend to perceive it the other way round.

What are your opinion about this, my friends?
