Every country passes through different stages just like babies. The responsibility of laying proper foundations lies with the visionary leaders of a country. On these foundations can the country grow from being a toddler to an adolescent inching towards maturity. India as an independent united country is just sixty going on sixty one. Just attaining maturity. As a culture, Indians always felt, the desire for money and comforts is obscene. Contentment was preached as a norm. The dictum held good for those times.But then children were sent abroad for studies. They saw the lifestyle of people living there. There started the brain drain. Nobody who experienced the luxury of the west never came back. The governments realized this and wet all out to change a few policy norms here and there. Lo and behold, not only is there a reversal of this brain drain but the very foreigners want to make money in the changed Indian market. IT industry which was earlier non existent in India, has hitherto gained momentum giving a further boost to the already burgeoning economy. There fell into its slot, the real estate and property market of the country. The same vision with added local factors has helped power the Kerala Propertyscene into full gear. There is no looking back now. With name like God’s own country being given to it, this property market won’t fade into oblivion. Making money is no longer obscene but utilizing it for the betterment of society will help uphold the old values for which the state looks attractive.
