We all have ideas, how to make women safe. We all point to numerous problems as well. From the clothes to reservation, to education of men in gender sensitivity. But what we fail to recognize is that the problem simply is of understanding the mind of women. Either they are thought to be inferior or as different as aliens from another planet. The female mind is simply different, and the only way forward is the understanding of the female mind. The way a woman may look at an issue may be completely different from a man, and hence finding a solution becomes impossible. Let us take a step towards this direction.
I truly agree and certainly feel the same way! it is and will be a fact forever that a woman creates a family and the society at large. they are entirely devoted for their families, their priorities always revolve around their family members, children and home. a woman is so much devoted for her family, she feels so much of compassion for every member of the family and this all does not limits to the feelings that is also being conveyed through her kind actions. and this the beauty of her mind and soul! understanding the mind and feelings of the woman is very important because it is only a woman who can give an actual shape to the picture of a developed society and the nation.
Agreed. It is significantly important to change the Indian patriarchal mindset before trying to deal with the crimes for it is the mindset that initiates crimes and is the root cause of all evils against women. the society and its norms that consider women as the weaker being in the society and reduces their life to mere submissive beings restricted to the four walls of the house. Woman has always been used as an object of sexual gratification and her refusal to let herself being used is unaccepted by the male dominated society which refutes to violence in order to tame or rather domesticate her. no modernization no technological development will help bring about an end to the many heinous crimes on women, if the mindset still remains the same. the society needs to widen its view and perspective and the need of the time to consider woman and try and understand her as an integral part of the society.
