Both camcorder and digital cameras have their own share of pros and cons. For excellent photo shoot a digital camera is always a preferred one and if you want to shoot excellent quality videos, than a camcorder is the perfect choice. However, there are several digital camera that are offering high quality video shooting but they still cannot match up to the quality of a camcorder. Similarly, even camcorders come equipped with the feature of still photography but it cannot match upto the quality of a digital camera. Thus one cannot ve very easily compared with one another,
Digital Camera is always the best. Although the video quality isn't great, it still provides umpteen options which a camcorder doesn't. Moreover few digital cameras can provide good quality videos too, so in my view digital cameras are the best replacement to an age old camcorder.
