I am using BSNL Broadband with HOME UL 750@256kbps.

I am having problem with its connection. There are many drop-outs in its connection – Sometimes it works while sometimes it doesn't. I never get speed of 256kbps which is written in its TARIFF – I am not getting at least 75kbps speed. Since last 7 days constantly I complaint but there is no response from the BSNL customer care - Ahmedabad - Gujarat

So please help me out by any means so that I can get the value of my money.

you are very lucky , getting 75 kbps speed, here in boisar , we people getting speed in range of 5 to 25 kbps range only. BSNL IS totally hopeless.

Switch to Tata Indicom or Airtel (2nd best option), Reliance is total crap [All show no substance]

We've got Hathway here in Mumbai.

They provide AMAZING service and they have various plans as per the usage history.

I've paid Rs. 600 for 2 months for connection with 1 mbps spped and 2 GB download limit.

Problems in BSNL broadband are quite common. Its just that the service is affordable and accessible! Connectivity is a little problem at times, nevertheless the problems are well sorted out when i contact the local Junior engineer of BSNL. Guess you guys also should be trying it out.

BSNL broadband service offers great plans as well as great problems too! Since the cables used for providing broadband service are also being used as cables for providing landline service, there is always some or the other problem with the service. I think BSNL should change the way it provides broadband service by creating an alternate route.
