Broadband speed test allows to check the upload and download speeds of broadband connection. A broadband speed test is a great way to check how accurate broadband provider’s claims are and this helps in ensuring that you are getting what you pay for. Here are some of the ways if you are not sure how to carry out broadband speed test.

Before starting, ensure that the connection is not being used for anything else like online video games, downloading music, streaming video or other tasks and only the speed test window should remain open as this will make sure that the test is accurate. Now follow the 3 simple steps:

    Step One: Enter Your Postcode

Step Two: Select your current broadband provider, and give them a rating from one to five stars.

Step Three: Click start and allow the test to run.

Once these steps are completed, the upload and download results will be shown. After getting the result of the speed test you will get to know if you are getting the promised speed and if not then you can consider other service provider options.
