The world has changed a lot with the advent of internet and has been changing with the passing of each day almost. It can be said, without a shred of doubt, thanks to the information revolution, the whole world has virtually transformed into a village and more changes are in the offing. How can a vibrant country like India remain exception to the same? It is unlikely and as expected, the same has taken place. India has become one of the most important members in the worldwide revolution and this can be easily ascertained from the mounting number of broadband providers and its users across the length and breadth of the country. IT industry has become one of the mainstays of Indian economy by now and it can’t step forward devoid of the strong presence of broadband providers in the country.

What is most striking, India’s progress in this segment has been almost in a flash. You may not believe but it is a reality that even in the year 2003, India was struggling a lot with the dial-up internet services, quite tainted for proffering pitiable services and connectivity was the greatest casualty. The real change took place in 2006 when on earth the notion of broadband reached the shores of India. Together with state-owned BSNL, a number of other companies (private players) commenced their own ventures. Nearly all of them are performing even today and with more veneration.

    • MTNL broadband
    • YOU broadband
    • Railwire Broadband
    • Tikona WiBro

Thanks to all of these, the whole topography of the country has changed to a large extent. Forget of crucial technological, business or military issues. You can even book train, bus, plane tickets and even hotels through internet! All these have been owing to the brawny presence of colossal broadband providers in India. Last but not least, the culture of net banking is getting poplar in India too.

well there are many broadband service providers in india and there are many more coming up with such services. so choosing the best one in your area is more vital. in the most of the urban areas, BSNL, and Reliance are quite good service providers. however services like Youtele, TATA, Sify are also good ones.

Airtel is considered as the best one but they does not provide their services in every area. I live in naraiyana Delhi but they do not have access in that area and do not know for what reason. I tried a lot to contact the customer care but got no result.

There are various broadband service providers now in india. Apart from the major providers like BSNL, MTNL, RELIANCE, AIRTEL, TATA there are other providers too which are starting these services. The only deciding factor is the reliability and connectivity. BSNL, AIRTEL, TATA are good in terms of connectivity.

Well, the broadband service providers are best in their job region wise. MTNL is best in mumbai and delhi region which offers affordable plans. BSNL on the other hand is good almost everywhere across the country. Airtel is selectively good depending on the reach of its network. Nevertheless it does good in all cities except for suburbs and rural areas.

The number of broadband service providers are increasing in India with the escalating demand of people for broadband service. MTNL and BSNL are government undertakings and provide their services all over the nation at a very affordable price. There are other private companies like Aitel, Reliance and Siffy are some of the most common broadband service provider offering their services in every part of the country.
