India witnessed one more attack on it by the anti national elements. Being this attack on one of the most popular tournament of the current time IPL T20, it needs to get the utmost attention form the home ministry. Police has discovered that the bomb was a crude bomb. But what does it signify? Was it a warning? Imagine the situation had it been a powerful bomb! If a crude bomb can be planted, there is also a possibility that a powerful bomb can be planted by anyone outside our stadiums. We are going to hold the Commonwealth Games after a few months. What will be the security measures in this event? It will be a matter of not only our security but also the security of thousands of participants from other countries. Prestige of India is associated with it. India needs a distinctive policy to tack the menace of terrorism. Simply deploring this act will not do. India will have to act to wipe out the root of terrorism. We cannot check all the people who come to watch the Indian premier league T20 cricket match or come near the stadiums. It’s not feasible to conduct checking in all the areas around the stadium. We badly need an alternate solution to this problem. We have to take measures right now not to see a major tragedy in the near future.
