Assam is the gateway to North-east India and is one of the most populous states of North-east India. Assam is rich in natural resources and biodiversity. Sibsagar is the historical capital of the state. It was the adobe of the Ahom rulers who ruled Assam for more than 600 years. Sibsagar is palace where the monuments and Ahom architecture can be found. The place is amazing and is extremely beautiful. A must visit destination in Assam.
 
Kaziranga National Park is one of the most coveted tourist destination of Assam for its natural beauty and bio diversities. This National Park has given Assam an international Platform. This national park is the breeding place of migratory birds and is also the adobe of many rare birds. One-horned Rhinoceros is found only in Assam and there are plenty in this national park.
