Apart from the global financial meltdown, the two leaders discussed an entire array of bilateral, regional and global issues, including terrorism, energy security, climate change and the situation in Pakistan and Afghanistan. "But we spoke about it more cooperatively, in terms of how we can coordinate effectively on issues of counter terrorism." "We also spoke about the fact that in a nuclear age, at a time when perhaps the greatest enemy of both India and Pakistan should be poverty, it may make sense to create a more effective dialogue between India and Pakistan," the American leader added. Living in denial Though India posses lots of capabilities vis-a-vis gaining into ranks of superpowers, we are yet to cover lot of distance. Let us be realistic about where we stand now and work accordingly.

"The US sees India as a global power." This is what US President Barack Obama told Prime ... As US President Barack Obama took ownership of a new comprehensive strategy ...
When USA says something good about us we celebrate, when they say something that we feel is against our interest (like regarding Kashmir) we tell them to shut up. We Indians are real emotional fools, how can India be global power with all the mess that need to be cleaned up in real time. It will take us another 100 years to catch up with USA and another 150 years to catch up with China.
