CONGRESS leader Praveen Davar said Atal Bihari Vajpayee was the weakest Prime Minister of India and Lal Krishna Advani the most incompetent Home Minister.

"It is Atal Bihari Vajpayee who was the weakest Prime Minister and Advani the most incompetent Home Minister as maximum terror attacks and the shameful Kandahar episode took place when the NDA was in power," AICC Secretary Praveen Davar said.

Addressing a public meeting at Reasi, some 150-km from here, Davar, in-charge of party's affairs in J and K, accused the BJP of doublespeak on the issue of corruption.

The Congress had taken swift action by removing a Union Minister, a Chief Minister and initiating action against those alleged to be involved in various controversies, he said.

But, the BJP did not remove its Karnataka Chief Minister Y S Yedurappa against whom "there are proven charges of land grabbing and other irregularities", Davar said.

Lauding the coalition government in the state, he said it had taken steps for restoration of peace and normalcy in the Valley.

That's why I hate politics. Today people are getting educated and know what's going in our country you don't need to tell anything. People are smart enough to judge everything. By blaming someone for his/her past work you can't clear your current work.

If you're a sincere enough then do your work with honesty and I'm sure people will reward you.

well i do not think so because atal bihari vajpayee was a strong contender with utmost experience during his tenure. he was the one who made guts to visit pakistan and make friendly meeting with pakistani prime minister for indo-pak relations to improvise. we cannot forgo such a great task done. despite the controversies he still stands good as a prime minister
