women in india are gaining greater acceptance in the society as important role players, yet are we truly free to make our choices? Do we have the right to choose our lifestyles, our life partners, our careers?
I really wonder if Indian men are totally free to make their choices as well vis-a-vis lifestyles, partners and career. I feel its not always about freedom alone, you gain respect by taking responsibilities too (definition of responsibility is not restricted to loving your life partner and caring for your children only) and by being an active/productiove entity both inside your familiy and socially, as Indian women gain more respect socially and within their families they will be able to enjoy more freedom.
