Pregnancy and anemia are deeply connected. This is because during pregnancy the female also passes on the nutrition to the baby and thus she faces deficiency of iron in the body which is termed as anemia. If you are prescribed to take iron medicines then you should not ignore this as it may cause severe problems to you and the lack of iron in baby and you as well.

Anemia at the time of pregnancy is one of the common phenomenon as well as it’s quite frequently caused by the deficiency of iron. Iron is considered as one of the most important mineral which everyone requires. Pregnant woman needs more iron due to many reasons. One of the most significant reasons of having the proper iron in to the body as it prepares the new blood and circulates inside the baby’s body at the time of pregnancy. At the last stage of pregnancy women usually have a thirty to fifty percent of blood increase in their body.
