Is agriculture the next stop for Indian entrepreneurs ? They with their smart modern thinking can put to use many of the new technologies and methods to extract the most from earth and to maintain agriculture as an ecofriendly practice, they can bring investment into this sector and bring new technologies to other farmers too. Do you think entrepreneurs should make a beeline towards agriculture ?

If that is don then it would b great as our farmers literally need the new and latest technologies to serve the farm and get most of from the land without spending too much time. If not government then it is great from the side of these rich enterprenures that at least they are thinking something for the farmers no matter gaining their own interest as well.

agriculture can be very promising business if done with interest and effective use of technology. india still uses old and primitive methods of agriculture due to which large lands also produce little output. using modern instruments and machinery output and effective use of land can be made. if entrepreneurs venture into agriculture, india's agriculture would see good growth

I think it could be very fetching if entrepreneurs venture into agricultural sector. The Indian agriculture is being run by the age old farmers who follow obsolete techniques due to financial deficit. If more money is invested, the output can be drastically improved bringing in huge profits.

Agriculture is the largest employing sector in India. As much as 60 percent of the workforce is into Agriculture and as much as 90-98 percent of this sector is unorganized. If entrepreneurs venture into this sector and transform it into organized and more productive sector, there can be a considerable hike in GDP, in which agriculture contributes as much as 15 to 18 percent currently.
