If you remember your childhood, your neighbourhood book stores were lined with books by foreign authors and a few good Indian authors. Today the same stores are seen with piles and piles of books by numerous Indian authors. The scenario has changed drastically in the past few years. There are a number of budding young authors in the Indian market today and there are books ranging from mythology to history to simple leisurely reading books on casual subjects. Their effect is that more people are reading books today, more books are selling and the industry is blooming. Its safe to say that books and their industry has changed and only for the better.
