I am a Col in Army and I had a recent vist to Srinagar. I came across a GIS system called BPS (Battle Planning Suite). The system was designed well and had lot of custumisation for Indian Army. But unfortunately there were only few systems in srinagar. This sort of system should be used by more by all the levels of Army. It is better that all the forces use the system and a combined use of this wise system would benifit the defence. Lets us see whether TOP BRASSES of the Indian Defence identify this system and make use of it Jaihind
