According to a Swedish Telecom Equipement manufacturer Ericsson, the 3G and 4G technologies would grow together in the indian markets. Slowly the 3G segment is gaining pace in the markets after the big companies have acquired their licenses for Broadband wireless access (BWA). It is also believed that though the initial prices for the devices used in these technologies would be higher, they would slide down as the demands increase gradually.

Well, i don't see any probability for growth of 4G in India because we are lagging big time in spreading the 3G technology itself. Moreover with the recent cancellation of 2G licenses of telecom companies impose a bigger question on the growth of 3G and 4G technology in India. What do you think?
