2G scam I think we Indians have become very immune to such scams by the politicians otherwise a scam of this magnitude would have created a national roar in earlier times and questions would have been raised throughout the country regarding functioning of the government departments. Our present day government has discharged itself from all moral and ethical responsibilities and that is the reason it does not find itself under any obligation to answer the questions raised by the public and the nation , furthermore it dares to blame the disturbance in the activities of the parliament on the opposition which is absolutely rubbish because not once have they shown urgency to react to the questions raised by the opposition and media and are simply trying to divert the national attention towards other relatively minor issues. I agree that scams have been happening since the independent history of India and this is not the first issue of its kind but what is unacceptable is the attitude of the government towards it as it is taking it too leisurely as if scam is its democratic right. Nira Radia was closely linked to this scam and had a say in the functioning of the whole telecom subsidiary of the ministry. Now its a fact that Nira Radia is not even an Indian citizen. She is an NRI and if an NRI can gain access to such insights of the central ministry then i guess the files of the central government are would be rather safe in one of my friends house who has a pet dog ,at least he will bark when the files are stolen or i think i should recommend a good dog for the post of a watchman in the secretariat building and now that the phone taping of Nira radia is disclosed i hear that the government is considering it unethical and an intrusion into privacy , and so instead of thinking about how an NRI intruded into the domestic affairs it is worried about the intrusion of privacy of an Non Resident Indian . I am speechless ! atlast i am speechless!!
Really I am also surprised why so many scams are happening in India. This is like a chain process. One scam is not solved and another one is starting. You can notice that in all the scams, the politicians are involved. You cant find a scam in which only the general public is involved. The politicians are coming just for corruption.I am not saying that all politicians are corrupted. But most means almost 90% politicians are corrupted. This is due to our govt policies. They are not not punished to that level that they will have a fear for corruption.
2G spectrum is a big time scam and this has brought utter shame to the government. when the government's name started denigrating due to the scam it pounced on its ally DMK and started culling out persons involved in 2G scam. one thing must be noted that all this would not have happened unless given permission by the central gov and prime minister himself.
The scam has again being aired on to the television and other media. The spectrum scam seems to be a much larger issue than what it looks to be. Media has unveiled the facts that the scam involves many big fishes of indian business industry. The corruption has spread to all the larger frontiers of our nation including the politicians, bureaucrats, and businessmen. Justice should be made and the guilty should be punished, is all we can hope.
