Indian economy is the 10th largest economy around the world by minimal GDP. it is the 4th largest economy by PPP means purchasing power parity. India's GDP is $3,339 in 2010. the growth of indian economy has taken a new heights since the time of independence. What do you all have to say about the indian economy and its growth. To me the economy growth is increasing but we are still called a poor country. :(

well though the indian economy is increasing in terms of the gdp, where is all the money going then?? its the rich companies and tycoons making more and more money but the poor ones are left poor and the middle class people also remain the same. where is the growth then?? its uneven and concentrated to the rich class only.

I completely agree with you. It is the growth of the economy for the government and for the people who are already rich. The enhancement in the economy hardly bothers the poor people and the middle class families. They are in fact not at all bothered about the economic growth of the country, they are busy in earning their bread and butter.
